China Glaze, Gena, ibd, SuperNail, EZ Flow and Seche Products Strut Their Stuff During LA Fashion Week: Yana K Runway Fashion Show Features Nails By American International Industries
April, 2006 (Los Angeles, CA) - During designer Yana K's recent LA Fashion
Show (March 23), models touring the runways were wearing designs from
American International on their hands. Nail technicians Teresa Hamm and
Sheri Miskell went backstage prior to Yana K's show at Mercedes Benz Fashion
Week to create nails that worked with the debut of Yana K's "Audrey"
Collection, styles inspired by the era of Audrey Hepburn. China Glaze nail
lacquers, Gena lotions, ibd cuticle oil, SuperNail polish removers, EZFlow
buffers and Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat were all woven into the finished
nail designs refined, ladylike and perfectly polished.
For a 7:00 p.m. show, Stage One at Smashbox Studios was packed to capacity.
Several celebrities were in attendance, with Jason Biggs and girlfriend
Lindsay Zir lighting up the front row. Also present for the show were, Dawn
Robinson (En Vogue), White Star (Sisco Adler's band), Sisco Adler, Johnny
Fairplay, Rex Lee(Entourage), Shaun Toub (Crash), Tara Lipinski (The Young
and the Restless), Page Kennedy(Barbershop), Shar Jackson(Love and
Basketball), Andrae Gonzalo(Project Runway 2), Christy Carlson Romano
(Cutting Edge II) and Niecy Nash(Reno-911).
